In March 2006, he performed Shostakovich's First Piano Concerto with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra conducted by M.Rostropovich. In January 2007, the world premiere of Salonen's piano concerto dedicated to Bronfman took place: the New York Philharmonic Orchestra conducted the author.
