Childhood and youth
Kirill Leonidovich Doronin - a native of Kazan, was born into the family of a former entrepreneur and housewife. Date of birth - January 15, 1980. Cyril is the eldest child in the family, he also has a brother.

So the company combined individual customer loans scattered across different banks into one and allowed the lender to pay money based on the personal financial situation.
In a year and a half, the structure has grown to 800 offices scattered across the country. However, the company soon began to receive complaints, and many disappointed customers who did not see the redeemed debt filed a lawsuit.
The Eskalat agency was liquidated in 2017.
In 2019, Kirill returned with a new Finiko trading project , which promised investments at 23-25% per month, closing any loan, debt, delinquency, receipts for 35% of the balance of the debt, buying cars and real estate for 35% of the cost and a lot more. At first, Doronin made it clear that the co-founders “threw” him, but they said that they transferred funds to Kirill, which is about $ 50 million, but after a couple of hours, the latter announced that he had been robbed and gave the money under threat.
At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan opened a criminal case against the leaders of Finiko under Article 172.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, seeing signs of a financial pyramid in the enterprise.
Exposed fraudsters were threatened with punishment in the form of a fine, forced labor or imprisonment for up to 1 year. The investigation revealed that the Doronin project attracted about 80 million rubles, but this is only official data. According to unofficial sources, Finiko owned a fortune of 7 billion rubles. In addition, the investment company was not registered in the state register, did not have a license and did not pay taxes.
According to preliminary data, about 165 thousand people suffered from the actions of the company, many of whom are residents of Kazakhstan, since it was there that the fraudsters managed to attract the most customers. The prosecutor's office of Almaty also opened a criminal case on the fact of the financial pyramid.
On Instagram, the entrepreneur tried to reassure depositors, assuring that Finiko would be fine.
However, the Central Bank recognized the company as a pyramid scheme . The security forces conducted a large-scale search in the offices of the exchange, but found only pristine computers, and in the Kremlevskaya Plaza, the operatives were waiting for a statue of Kirill Doronin, made in full growth. But the founders of the company were not detained.
The Federal Public-State Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Investors and Shareholders also became interested in Doronin's project, and bloggers on YouTube filmed revealing videos, urging investors to be vigilant and not trust a dubious organization.

In 2021, blogger Andrei Alistarov suggested that Doronin received Turkish citizenship. At least, a photo from a Turkish passport in the name of Onur Namik surfaced on social networks, in which one can identify the co-founder of Finiko.
Kirill stated that he was ready to return the money within six months - all that was needed was applications from depositors, as well as confirmation of the presence of a deposit. Later, the entrepreneur said in a new video that he was preparing a new project. However, at the end of July, he deleted the Instagram account in which he made promises of payments.
On July 30, Doronin was detained in Kazan . He was charged with the article "Organization of activities to raise funds."
