Kamal Jumblatt

Kamal Jumblatt was born on December 6, 1917 , in Moukhtara, Lebanon . He was a lawyer and politician and the founder of the Progressive Socialist Party in Lebanon . Jumblatt was educated at the Université de Paris , University of Paris , Lebanese University , and Saint Joseph University .

Kamal Jumblatt was the recipient of the Lenin Peace Prize . He was the son of Fouad Jumblatt and Nazira Jumblatt , and the father of Walid Jumblatt . Jumblatt held Lebanese nationality and passed away in Lebanon on March 16, 1977 .
