Kai Siegbahn

Kai Siegbahn (born April 20, 1918, in Lund, Sweden, and died July 20, 2007, in Ängelholm) was a physicist from Sweden. He was educated at Uppsala University and Stockholm University. He was the son of Manne Siegbahn, a famous physicist in his own right.

During his career, Kai Siegbahn made significant contributions to the field of physics and was recognized with the 1981 Nobel Prize in Physics. He had a notable doctoral student, Ewert Bengtsson.

Kai Siegbahn died on July 20, 2007, in Ängelholm, Sweden.
