John Gabbert Bowman (May 18, 1877 – December 2, 1962) was an American poet and educator. He was born in Davenport, Iowa, and received his education at the University of Iowa. Bowman was the founder of the University of Pittsburgh Press and is recognized for his occupation as a poet. He passed away in Bedford, Pennsylvania, on December 2, 1962.
