As an associate Gibson oversaw risks and trades in USD intrest markets which included swaps, swaptions, treasuries, agencies, and futures related to Eurodollar and treasuries. In December 2008 Gibson was promoted by JP Morgan Chase to become the vice president of the North American Interest Trading division of the company where he developed front office trading technologies and priced trades for hedge fund clients related to USD interest rate swaps.
