Jacob Gibson

Jacob Gibson is an American investor and entrepreneur known for being the founder of Nerdwallet and founding partner of Better Tomorrow Ventures.

Jacob Gibson has held multiple positions at JP Morgan Chase during his time working with the company. From June 2004 to December 2008 Gibson worked as an associate in the JP Morgan Chase department for Interest Rate Proprietary Trading. As an associate Gibson oversaw risks and trades in USD intrest markets which included swaps, swaptions, treasuries, agencies, and futures related to Eurodollar and treasuries. In December 2008 Gibson was promoted by JP Morgan Chase to become the vice president of the North American Interest Trading division of the company where he developed front office trading technologies and priced trades for hedge fund clients related to USD interest rate swaps.

From 2000 to 2004 Jacob Gibson attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated with a bachelors degrees in math and management science. during his time at Massachusetts Institute of Technology Gibson participated in the fraternity known as Phi Delta Theta.
