Dynamic Avatars with Complete Articulated Anatomy (DACAA) is an innovative solution proposed and developed by the Innovision Team for USARIEM avatars repositioning and movement. Based on the advancements and findings achieved in Phase I, we have refined and renovated DACAA concept and expanded Phase II work scope to pursue advanced goals essential to USARIEMs mission. The renovated concept of DACAA consists of two parts: DACAA-M (Manipulation) and DACAA-U (Utilization). DACAA-M corresponds to the original concept of solution and is intended to address the needs and requirements of the Topic. DACAA-U represents our new offering to the Topic sponsor. It is intended to address the needs of USARIEM and other DoD users who want to utilize USARIEM avatars for various applications. Our first goal in Phase II is to continue developing key technologies and modules for DACAA-M and to integrate them to form a fully functional software system. By the end of Phase II, DACAA-M will be ready for the implementation in the Army mission related applications. The other goal is to build DACAA-U, including requirement analysis, framework construction, key technology research and development. By the end of Phase II, DACAA-U prototype will be ready for concept demonstration.
