Innoflight, Inc. SBIR Phase II Award, September 2019

The radiation environment around Earth hinders space electrical systems. Photons, protons, electrons, and heavy-ions freely traveling in space can cause devices to latch up, data bits to flip, and systems to fail (temporarily or permanently). Innoflight is looking to develop a new radiation tolerant technology while simultaneously creating, testing, and verifying schemes to harden existing commercial products. This will lead to Innoflight products being more reliable in the near-term, while developing and adopting this new technology. This advancement in radiation mitigation on electronic components will have an immediate positive impact, on supporting missions/programs. Approved for Public Release 19-MDA-10203 (4 Sep 19)
