For this effort Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) proposes to develop and demonstrate a resilient SDR capable of leveraging alternate PNT solutions to enable operations in a contested, degraded or denied GPS environment. This solution will include an open, government-owned reference architecture developed with robust model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approach that defines the digital representation of all internal and external interfaces to a survivable, resilient SDR. The solution will involve enabling access to a suite of modular sensors used to aid in navigation by leveraging and adapting IS4S programs; Resilient-Embedded GPS and INS (R-EGI ) and PNT Operating System (pntOS) and models, as well as IS4S work regarding the development of the Common Munition SDR. This effort will seek to reduce the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) developed by the R-EGI program into a smaller form factor to be placed on a System on a Chip (SoC) suitable for inclusion in an SDR. Combining the R-EGI GRA with the IS4S work in developing a common munition SDR GRA will be the foundation of this effort and will allow for the integration of emerging and state of the art technologies to include proprietary solutions without sacrificing the integrity of the open, modular architecture.
