Australian physicist
Harrie Massey (1908-1983) was an Australian physicist born in St Kilda, Victoria and held Australian citizenship. Massey was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge and the University of Cambridge. He was the founder of the Mullard Space Science Laboratory and mentored doctoral student Alan Martin, also a physicist. Harrie Massey passed away on November 27, 1983, in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
