The ever-increasing need for more information exchange over the available radio spectrum is addressed by a multi-band digital-RF transceiver, featuring direct conversion of analog radio frequency (RF) signals to the digital domain. Building upon the previous Phase II effort, we extend the digital interface throughput between cryogenic multi-GHz digital-RF receiver and room-temperature real-time processors. This project further develops the transmit side of the multi-GHz transceiver using state-of-the-art technology and maximally leverages the rapid maturation of wideband digital-RF receivers that can capture over 20 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth. We now propose to extend transmission to multiple disjoint bands, each spanning a wide band comprising multiple individual carriers.
