Abstract

Great Lakes Sound and Vibration Inc. (GLSV) will develop improved propeller designs that will be high-quality, repeatable, and will meet or exceed all of the performance requirements of the legacy propeller designs. In addition, the new propeller designs will offer significantly lower costs by leveraging advanced materials and manufacturing processes. This will provide the Navy with a new production stream, and by the end of the Phase-II effort, GLSV will be qualified as an approved source for the propellers.
