Grafana Labs

Grafana Labs is an open-source software platform used to monitor, visualize, and metric analytics.

Overview

Grafana Labs, formerly known as Raintank, is an open-source software development company founded in 2014 by Raj Dutt, Torkel Odegaard, and Anthony Woods. The company refers to its flagship product Garfana as an "observability" platform for visualizing, monitoring, and metric analytics. Garfana Labs is the lead developer of the open-source projects Garfana and Loki, both used to visualize time series data.

Other product offerings from Garfana Labs include the Garfana Cloud, a monitoring platform that allows for synthetic monitoring, a method that predicts user requests to an application to test the reliability of the action. The Garfana Cloud is largely used to track the health of information technology infrastructures.
