George Preston Marshall (October 11, 1896 – August 9, 1969) was an American businessman born in Grafton, West Virginia. He held dual occupations as a professional and businessperson. Marshall held United States citizenship and was educated at Randolph–Macon College.
Marshall is known as the founder of the Washington Football Team. He also owned the team as a subsidiary. He passed away in Washington, D.C. at the age of 72.
