Gallium

Gallium (chemical symbol - Ga, from Lat. Gallium) is a chemical element of the 13th group (according to the outdated classification - the third group of the main subgroup, IIIA), the fourth period of the periodic system of chemical elements of D. I. Mendeleev, with atomic number 31.

The simple substance gallium is a soft brittle metal of silvery-white (according to other sources, light gray) color with a bluish tinge. It belongs to the group of light metals.
