The Formans is a river located in France. At 10.5 miles long, it stems from the Morbier and flows into the Saône.
Path
The Formans flows through the communes Ars-sur-Formans and Misérieux, joining with the Morbier in Sainte-Euphémie. Before reaching Sainte-Euphémie, the Morbier passes through the communes Rancé and Toussieux. A dam wall channels the path of the Morbier and creates a small forebay, at which point the Formans receives the entire volume of the river. From there, the Formans passes through the commune Saint-Didier-de-Formans on its final stretch to reach the Saône.
