Eilhard Mitscherlich was a German chemist born on January 7, 1794, in Wilhelmshaven. Mitscherlich held German citizenship. He studied at numerous universities, including Heidelberg University, Stockholm University, University of Göttingen, and Humboldt University of Berlin. His doctoral advisor was Friedrich Stromeyer, and one of his notable doctoral students was Heinrich Gustav Magnus.
Mitscherlich's occupation was as a chemist. He passed away on August 28, 1863, in Berlin.
