Dmitry Petrovich Dyuzhev (born July 9, 1978, Astrakhan) is a Russian stage and film actor and director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2018), and Honored Artist of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Dyuzhev's famous acting work includes such films as Zhmurki, Ostrov, I Don't Hurt, the television series Brigada, and others.
Born in Astrakhan on July 9, 1978 into the family of local theater actor Pyotr Dyuzhev.
Graduated from the "School for Gifted Children" in 1995 and entered GITIS at the Director's Faculty (acting group, workshop of Mark Zakharov). After graduation in 1999 was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theatre of Young People's Friendship.
Made his film debut in 2000 in the Alexander Atanesian's film "24 Hours" and in the film "Outcast" (cameo role, sorter of Federal Express in Russia). The actor gained fame for his role as Cosmos in Alexei Sidorov's Brigada (2002), and recognition from critics for his role as Simon the Bandit in Alexei Balabanov's black comedy Zhmurki: this role was awarded at the Kinotavr Film Festival in Sochi in 2005.
Since 2006 he has been an actor of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.
After participating and winning the TV show "Two Stars" he performs as a vocalist and tours with his partner in the project Tamara Gverdtsiteli.
In 2011 Dyuzhev made his debut as a director. After graduating from the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors, he made his graduation work, the half-hour film Brotherhood, which participated in Kinotavr in the short film competition[3] as well as in the St. Petersburg Student Film Festival Nachalo. The film later won the Jury's Special Prize at the Moscow Artkino Short Film Festival and the Grand Prize at the Reflection Film Festival. The film was also selected by Russian film schools to participate in the international short film festivals in Poitiers (France) and Cottbus (Germany).

In 2012, the premiere of the film "Mothers" took place, where Dyuzhev shot the short story "My beloved" with Sergei Bezrukov.
In 2014, he shot a short story for the film "Champions". It is a love and sports life story of Anton Sikharulidze and Elena Berezhnaya.
In 2015 he made his debut as a theater director, staging the play "Bench" based on the play of the same name by A. Gelman with the participation of actors: A. Khabarov and V. Lanskaya.
