On December 23, 2012 Dmitry Kuplinov created his YouTube channel called "Kuplinov ► Play". The main genre of Kuplinov's videos was "letsplay". The first video titled "Postal 2 AWP-Delete Review Passage ►Puking in the Thorn Tree ► #1" was released on the channel on July 12, 2013 and was dedicated to the passage of the Postal 2 game. The video collected more than 30 thousand views in one week.

In 2014, the main channel "Kuplinov ► Play" crossed the bar of 100 thousand subscribers, and a year later Dmitry was awarded a silver button from YouTube. In 2015, the channel overcame the bar of 1 million subscribers, but Kuplinov received the golden button from YouTube only two years later.

On July 26, 2015, he created his second YouTube channel with the name "Kuplinov" (now - "Recordings of Kuplinov's streams"). Initially, video conversations were released on it in which Dmitry spoke his opinion about a particular computer game, podcasts were also released, and since 2017, recordings of his streams have been released on the channel.

On February 20, 2021, the Kuplinov ► Play channel gained 10 million subscribers, and in honor of this, in July of the same year, Dmitry Kuplinov received a diamond button from YouTube.

Ratings

In the ranking of the "TOP 20 Russian-speaking YouTube bloggers" for June 2019, from the company "Brand Analytics", Kuplinov took the 16th place.

On October 16, 2019, Brand Analytics included the blogger in the "TOP 20 Russian-speaking YouTube bloggers" rating in September, and assigned him the 12th place.

In February 2020, he entered the "Top 20 Russian-speaking YouTube bloggers", according to ratings from Brand Analytics.

In June 2020, he took 24th place in the list of "Top 30 bloggers on YouTube".

In December 2021, Medialogia awarded Kuplinov the 14th place in the rating of "TOP 20 YouTube channels for November 2021".

According to the results of 2021, YouTube took the 8th position in the rating of "Top authors" in Russia.
