Dan Aykroyd

Dan Aykroyd, born on July 1, 1952, is a Canadian actor, screenwriter, comedian, film producer, television producer, film director, and singer. He was born in Ottawa, Canada, and has Canadian citizenship. Aykroyd is known for his work in various roles in the entertainment industry and is the founder of the House of Blues.

Dan Aykroyd was educated at several institutions, including Carleton University, Lisgar Collegiate Institute, St. Patrick's High School (Ottawa), and St. Pius X High School (Ottawa).

Throughout his career, he has authored and created notable projects, such as Blues Brothers 2000 and The Real Ghostbusters. Additionally, he has served as a member of the board of directors for the film, Nothing but Trouble.

Dan Aykroyd is the son of Peter Aykroyd.
