DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporations (DAC) Air to Ground Identification Translation for Active Target Environments (AGITATE) will allow the U. S. Air Force (USAF) to directly translate target information obtained by Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems onto air-to-ground weapons, leading to improved target accuracy. Current simulations of conflicts, e.g. hostilities in the South China Sea, indicate that DACs solution to this challenge will support the USAF by offering a sensor fusion algorithm which will enable air launched weapons to directly incorporate information from airborne and space based ISR systems, leading to improved target accuracy and terminal guidance.This algorithm, developed under support from both USAF and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), has been designed to support target characterization and tracking in a sensor-flexible manner.DAC has demonstrated the algorithms capacity to assimilate data from a wide variety of sensors, including radar and infrared (IR) to characterize military targets and infer physical properties of those targets, leading to a direct means of sensor fusion.DAC will help the USAF develop a system which can fuse ISR information to weapon sensor returns to rapidly detect, identify, and pursue mobile threats even when the ISR and weapons system have differing views of the target.
