D. H. Lawrence

D. H. Lawrence, born David Herbert Richards Lawrence, was a British writer and playwright from Nottingham, United Kingdom. Born on September 11, 1885, Lawrence was also a poet, novelist, and screenwriter. He was educated at the University of Nottingham, University of London, and Nottingham High School. His work spans various genres, including essays, poetry, novellas, and novels.

Lawrence's notable works include Sons and Lovers, Lady Chatterley's Lover, Women in Love, and The Rainbow. He used the pseudonym Lawrence H. Davison and was also known as David Herbert Lawrence.

D. H. Lawrence passed away on March 2, 1930 in Vence, France.
