Contento is a San Francisco-based digital platform that allows small businesses to use artificial intelligence to promote and maintain their digital markets without the help of a human digital marketer. Its stated goal is to grow small businesses and create new jobs for those businesses.

Contento onboards its clients by asking questions on a user-friendly interface. Topics that are covered are information about the user, the company, and the user's objective for the company. Following the onboarding process, the artificial intelligence embedded in the software creates a customized business strategy for the company. Contento then executes the delivery of the business strategy using a targeting algorithm to grow the company's social media following.

There is also a customer portal in which the user can access a real-time activity feed, the analytics of patterns for the user's social media channels and also a communication center.
