An American banking company headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. It is one of the twenty largest US banks. From 1988 to 2015, it was a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS).As of 2015, Citizens was the 13th largest bank in the United States,[3] has more than 1,200 branches and about 3,200 ATMs in 11 states.
