Abstract

This STTR Phase I proposal focuses on small or moderate size reserve cells with specific requirements of powering an advanced munition, drone or UAV for a critical extended mission which can only be achieved with an increase in specific energy/energy density of a factor of 4 or 5. The specification of "reserve" cell also implies single use and 20-year unmaintained shelf life.
