The coordination of manned and unmanned aircraft, artillery, firing lanes, and ground forces can be enhanced by a lane-based approach to asset trajectory planning. In the proposed Phase II STTR effort, we plan to develop an approach, software prototype, simulation, and test and evaluation framework for the coordination of the trajectories of a large number of airborne coalition assets and dynamic contingency handling. This will include a secure and scalable approach to cloud deployment of services. It will also include a user interface for air space operations management. Our interdisciplinary team includes CogniTech Corporation, the University of Utah School of Computing, Lockheed Martin, and a consultant with significant UAS expertise.
