Boris Franz Becker (German Boris Franz Becker; November 22, 1967; Leimen, Germany) is a German tennis player, former world number one in singles. Winner of six Grand Slam tournaments, two-time Davis Cup winner, 1992 Olympic champion in doubles. In 2003, he was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

In 1985, he became the youngest winner of Wimbledon (17 years old). From that moment until the end of his career, Becker was always under the scrutiny of the press and fans. This was facilitated by his explosive nature, love affairs and charisma. Unlike compatriot Steffi Graf, Boris Becker has always been a man of the world and welcomed the hype around him.
