Beatrix Campbell

Beatrice Campbell was born in Carline in England. Her parents, Jim and Catherine Barnes, were members of the Communist Party. Beatrice was educated at Harraby High School and Carlisle Girls' High School. She also graduated from the Richard Rose Central Academy.

In 1970, Campbell became deeply committed to the women's rights movement and from that moment on she began to focus on this in her work.
