Artur Taymazov

Artur Taymazov was born on July 20, 1979 and is a citizen of Uzbekistan. He was educated at North Ossetian State University and is currently a politician.

Taymazov is a decorated wrestler, with numerous awards in his career, such as the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Summer Olympics, the 2003 and 2006 World Wrestling Championships, and the 2001 and 2007 freestyle wrestling world championship medalist. Additionally, he won the 2010 freestyle wrestling world championship silver medal, was the Asian Games wrestling champion in 2002, 2006, and 2010, and also won the asian freestyle wrestling championship in 2000 and 2011.

Taymazov holds Russian nationality and resides in Russia.
