Soldiers employ multiple digital assets on the battlefield for communications and surveillance. These sources do not support SECRET level classification and may not ever. The Nett Warrior system is an integrated system that allows soldiers to use Android devices for SECRET level tactical and front-line use (e.g., common operating picture, data feeds, real-time communications, etc.). These new non-SECRET systems would improve the effectiveness, lethality, and improve the ability to complete missions; but these systems cannot be connected to Nett Warrior because of the lack of a cross-domain solution to allow select data to flow from these non-SECRET devices and sources into the SECRET device while blocking and controlling data flowing the other way. A solution is needed to securely attach these non-SECRET data sources safely into the Nett Warrior and other SECRET systems (e.g., A-PASS, or KilSwitch). ATCorp has proposed a cross-domain guard solution (CDS) that includes a new software framework that will minimize CDS development now and in the future. This new CDS adds the needed capability and additional capabilities for Nett Warrior and other systems. This new CDS will be agnostic to future upgrades to Net Warrior End User Devices, radios and accessories.
