The vulnerability of GPS to jamming and spoofing is a threat to national security and the global economy, with GPS defense being over-matched by jamming. Current backups and sensor fusions don't fill all operational requirements. To fill this gap, we are developing magnetic velocity and position (MVP) sensing to support navigation by any vehicle from UAS to hypersonic vehicles in any environment from the oceans depths to on-orbit, with a 8 m/day drift rate predicted in prior simulations, which will also permit MVP to detect GPS spoofing as divergence between GPS and MVP position determinations.
