Antonov An-225 Mriya

The aircraft was designed and built in the USSR in a single copy at the Kyiv Mechanical Plant (project manager - V. I. Tolmachev) in 1984-1988. The first flight was made on December 21, 1988. Two cars were originally laid down; only one copy was in flight condition and was operated by the Ukrainian company Antonov Airlines.

The only flight specimen was destroyed in a hangar on February 25, 2022 in the battles for Antonov Airport during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
