Anthony Quinn

Anthony Quinn (born Manuel Antonio Rodolfo Quinn Oaxaca) was a Mexican-American actor, writer, film director, painter, and restaurateur born in Chihuahua City on April 21, 1915. Having dual citizenship in the United States and Mexico, he was educated at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Over his career, Quinn appeared in various genres and held occupations as an actor, writer, film director, painter, and restaurateur.

His body of work includes numerous notable films such as Viva Zapata, Lawrence of Arabia, and A Walk in the Clouds. He was also the CEO of Aeglea BioTherapeutics and sat on their board of directors.

Anthony Quinn was married to Katherine DeMille and had three children: Francesco Quinn, Lorenzo Quinn, and Danny Quinn. He passed away in Boston on June 3, 2001.
