Alla Zagaykevich (Ukrainian Alla Leonidivna Zagaykevich; born December 17, 1966, Khmelnitsky) is a Ukrainian composer. Honored Art Worker of Ukraine (2021).
She graduated from the Kiev State Conservatory (1990) in the composition class of Yuri Ishchenko. In 1995-1996, she attended a one-year course in French. IRCAM (seminars B. Fernyhow, T. Muray, F. Manuri). Notes the influence on his creative formation of the ideas of A. Bosenko's transcendental philosophy
In 1986-1999 she performed with the folklore ensemble "Drevo".
Since 1998 he has been teaching at the Department of Music and Information Technologies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine. Member of the Union of Composers of Ukraine (since 1993). Author of articles on musicology. The works of Alla Zagaykevich were performed at the festivals "Kyiv Music Fest", "Premiers of the Season", "Mistetska Berezilla" in Kyiv, "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" in Odessa, "Musical Tradition and Avant-Garde" in Lublin and others.
The works of Alla Zagaykevich are performed by well-known Ukrainian and foreign ensembles: the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the orchestra of the National Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky, Rivne Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Chernihiv Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Ukrainian State Ensemble of Soloists (chamber orchestra), Kyiv Camerata, Archi Kyiv Chamber Orchestra (all from Ukraine), Kammersymphoniker (Austria); Kyiv Ensemble of Contemporary Music Ricochet (Ukraine), Ensemble Frescos (Odessa, Ukraine), Ensemble CAT (Ukraine), Ensemble Court-Circuit (France), Ensemble Contemporain de Montréal (Canada).
