Biography

The famous artist of the humorous genre Alexander Revva has made a long way to the Olympus of glory. Like many comedians, he began his creative career in the KVN team, which gave him an unforgettable image of Arthur Pirozhkov, whom the audience remembered even more than the artist himself. Today he is known as a brilliant showman, performer of dance hits, clips for which collect millions of views on the Internet.

Childhood and youth

Alexander Revva was born on September 10, 1974 in Donetsk. Despite the fact that Ukraine became the birthplace of the boy and his twin sister, he considers himself to be Russian and Estonian by nationality.

His family were extremely talented, which was fully transmitted to the boy. My grandfather worked at the local conservatory, where he taught accordion playing, and was listed in the Guinness Book of Records due to his ability to multiply six-digit numbers in his mind. Mother Lyubov Nikolaevna was a soloist of the choir and was famous for her unique ability to attract metal to the body. Later, the woman mastered the specialty of concert organizer. She managed to work with Valery Meladze, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk, when they were still unknown artists.

Revva's father left the family when the boy was little. The upbringing of the future artist in childhood was handled by his mother and grandmother, who doted on Sasha.

Like many other boys, Revva could play football or robber Cossacks all day long. Sasha learned to play the guitar early and was fond of tricks that he came up with on his own. He was also no stranger to theatrical art. As a child, he was a participant in amateur circles and always made the audience laugh with his humorous productions.

In 1980, Sasha had a stepfather - Oleg Evgenievich Racheyev, a worker at a metallurgical combine. When Alexander was 10 years old, his family moved to Khabarovsk. There, the artist's mother opened her own club, involving him and his sister Natalia in the case. Despite their young age, the children began to lead a dance circle, in which they were helped by the experience of ballet dancing. However, after 2 years of exciting adventures, the family also unexpectedly returned to Donetsk, where Alexander graduated from school.

After the 9th grade, he faced the question of further education. Revva was thinking of entering the theater institute, remembering the success he enjoyed at school performances. But still, the young man decided to choose a more thorough profession and entered the college of industrial automation. He graduated with a red diploma and applied to several educational institutions, successfully entering the Academy of Management and the Polytechnic Institute. Alexander did not choose and at first attended both universities, but after a semester he decided to continue his studies at the Academy of Management, where he received the specialty of manager.

For some time Revva worked as a locksmith and tried to engage in the advertising business, until a turning point happened in his biography - Alexander got into the KVN.

KVN

The popularity and fame of Revva is largely due to the popular KVN show. In 1995, the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful enjoyed great interest from the audience and literally every day discovered young talents. Alexander's first team was the Donetsk team "Yellow Jackets". In its composition, the artist played for 5 years, simultaneously working on the radio.

At first, Revva perceived the game as a pleasant pastime and hobby, but he did not even dream of a place in the Major Leagues and television. He received his first fee in 1999, after which he slightly revised his views on KVN.

To earn money, Revva sold his jokes and scripts of humorous numbers to other teams, which was very commonplace in those days. So he met the guys from the Sochi team "Tired of the Sun", which was also a member of another famous comedian Mikhail Galustyan.

In 2000, Alexander came to Sochi to visit his mother and went to the studio where the team was rehearsing. His goal was to sell a few of his jokes and numbers, but "Tired of the Sun" urgently needed another participant, and they persuaded Revva to go with them to the game.

Participation in the team gave Alexander fame and popularity. His jokes, as well as incredible images, became so recognizable that they often overshadowed the artist himself. The images of grandmothers, as well as macho Arthur Pirozhkov, enjoyed success with the audience. By the way, Revva created this character after visiting one of the Sochi fitness clubs, where he saw enough of "jocks" who can only talk about their body and sports. In the Comedy Club, Alexander performed together with Garik Kharlamov, Pavel Volya, Timur Batrutdinov and other colleagues on the show. Then he switched to the format of solo performances, which enjoyed no less success. The love of the audience and even more popularity were won by his numbers in the already proven image of his grandmother, Revva performed a whole cycle of independent miniatures in this role.

In 2009, Revva became a TV presenter of the show "You're funny!", which he led in the image of his famous character Arthur Pirozhkov. His colleague was the captain of the team "Ural dumplings" Andrey Rozhkov, who also took a stage name - Andrey Borisovich. However, the project was criticized by both critics and the public. The main problem was a high degree of vulgarity that went beyond the bounds of decency. The audience and the jury members did not appreciate the humorous performances of the contestants and did not consider them funny. After season 1, it was decided to close the show.

For some time, Revva acted as a TV presenter of the most popular shows and projects, including those on Channel One.

Movies and songs

In 2010, the artist decided to go into the restaurant business and, together with a well-known specialist in this field, Dmitry Orlinsky, opened the Spaghetti restaurant, located in a picturesque corner of Moscow.

2 years before that, the artist began his cinematic career. For the first time he appeared in the issue of the children's TV magazine "Yeralash", later followed by filming in the comedy "People of He", in which it was about psychics. In this mini-series, the artist not only shone on the screen, but also tried his hand as a producer.

Since 2012, the artist began to appear in serious cinema. He took part in the filming of the series "Zaitsev + 1" and the feature films "Rzhevsky vs Napoleon", "Classmates.ru: Get lucky." In the film "The Understudy", Alexander played 3 main roles at once – TV stars and people unusually similar to him. As a prototype of the main character of Revva, the creators of the film used the image of Stas Mikhailov. After the release of the comedy on the screens, the singer sued the producers for the inconsistent use of his name.

Soon another film appeared in Alexander's repertoire – "Easy to Remember", where this time he appeared in the episodic role of the character Leni. The image of the main character on the screen was embodied by Garik Kharlamov.

Music is also firmly embedded in the work of the humorist. He took the first steps in this direction when he was a caveman. Later, the audience took his vocal performances from the Comedy Club stage with interest. In 2010, the artist recorded a joint "Friends Song" with Dima Bilan.

So, with Marina Kravets, he presented the Terminator issue, and paired with Roman Khan, he played a fight scene of two of the strongest boxers in the world - Natalia Kachko and Ku Ni Di. The comedian also presented a solo performance - a teleconference with his brother Nikita.

In 2015, Revva released the musical album "Love", which included popular songs of the artist. At various times, the singer's singles were the compositions "Cry, baby!", "Revolution", Paradise.

In 2016, comedies with the participation of Revva "Bet on Love" and "Super Bad" were released on the screens. In the same year, the actor voiced the mighty eagle in the cartoon "Angry Birds in the cinema". Revva also released 3 music videos for the songs "I will remember", "Maga", recorded together with Timati, and "#Kakchelentano", in the filming of which Ornella Muti herself participated. On the occasion of the filming of the last video, Revva arranged a noisy party, a special guest of which was singer Svetlana Loboda. In his Instagram, the artist shared numerous photos of how he spends the evening with Ornella and Svetlana.

In 2017, the celebrity appeared in the film "Yana+Yanko" and voiced the Joker in the animated blockbuster "Lego Movie: Batman". Also, with the participation of Revva, the filming of the project "Grandmother of Easy Virtue", where he played the main role, was completed.
