AirHop Communications is a 4G and 5G network intelligence software company, founded in 2007 by Yan Hui. AirHop Communications develops automated radio access network (RAN) optimization software. Its products have features that can dynamically coordinate distributed network information in near real time and make coordinated decisions that optimize the network's performance.

eSON is a real-time, virtualized heterogeneous network automation, optimization, and self-healing solution that delivers multi-cell coordination of wireless network resources, optimized coverage, capacity, and mobility. Its hybrid architecture responds to network problems in real time and delivers comprehensive self-organizing network features. eSON enables mobile network operators to realize operating expenses savings through automated network deployment and management, capital expenditures savings through coverage and capacity expansion with network densification, and new revenue opportunities through improved end-user quality of experience (QoE).

eSONify tests and certifies eSON features for application in a heterogeneous network environment. eSONify is used by wireless operators, equipment vendors, enabling technology companies, research organizations, and government agencies. Program partners have access to a systematic process to use and test eSON features and resources that allow them to quickly build an eSON-ready trial network.

eSON360 is a software suite based on a unified cloud-based platform. It consists of eSON360 Real-Time, eSON360 Analytics, and eSON360 Visualization. eSON360 Real-Time delivers multi-cell coordinated optimization of network resources that optimize coverage, capacity, and mobility. eSON360 Analytics consolidates and processes key performance indicators from multiple sources and vendors in mobile network operator networks, then transforms that information into actionable insights to improve network performance, end-user QoE, and prediction of potential issues. eSON360 Visualization uses the output from eSON360 Real-Time and eSON360 Analytics to visualize the overall health of the network, from individual cell performance to user QoE.

AirHop Communications has won multiple awards. They include the Spiffy Award in 2011 from Telecom Council and Small Cell Forum's Small Cell Industry Award in both 2013 and 2016.
