Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi (born October 23, 1947) was a Palestinian politician and physician. He was born in Yibna and held citizenship in the State of Palestine. Al-Rantisi was educated at Alexandria University.
He was one of the founders of the Islamist political organization Hamas. Al-Rantisi passed away on April 17, 2004, in Gaza City.
