500 Durians is a venture capital fund of 500 Startups that invest across South Asia. It seeks to invest in the financial service, consumer product, healthcare, education, food and internet sectors. It was launched in 2013 and is based in Singapore, Singapore. 500 Durians are vertical-agnostic and invest primarily in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia at the pre-seed and seed stage. They follow the same strategy of 500 Startups of making many small investments and investing on further in investments they see growing and being successful.
