State Enterprise “Gas Turbine Research & Production Complex “Zorya”-“Mashproekt” is the Ukraine’s designer and manufacturer of marine and industrial gas turbine plants.

Products

Since the middle 1950s the Enterprise has been designing and producing marine gas turbine propulsion plants for displacement ships, hovercrafts, and hydrofoils. Zorya-Mashproekt has developed and produced unique reversible gas turbine plants which allow the ship to change immediately the direction of movement.

Since the late 1960s the Enterprise has been shipping gas turbines for electricity-generating plants and since 2010 the completed power generation units have been delivered to the customers.

In the 1970s Zorya-Mashproekt released gas turbines for natural gas pumping units.

Over the past 65 years the Enterprise has developed gas turbine plants available in the power range from 100 kW to 110 mW.

Today we produce the 3-25 mW gas turbine engines. Every engine has several modifications for different applications. The design features of engines and their characteristics are constantly being improved. They are able to run on the different grades of gaseous and liquid fuels.

We have developed and manufactured the gear boxes for all types of displacement ships and step-up gears for driving system of electric generator, compressors, and pumps. The gear boxes have a variable gear ratio and can engage/disengage power inputs.

Mashproekt R&D Center

Mashproekt includes three main divisions: the Design Division, R&D Division, and Pilot Production.

New projects developed by the Design Division are being examined at the R&D Division’s test rigs. Then, the Pilot Production manufactures the pilot engines.

All tests of the pilot and serial products run on liquid fuel or natural gas and are conducted under full load conditions.

Over the years, the power scientific school has been founded. The team of Mashproekt’s designers is acknowledged as the best in the world gas turbine construction.

Serial Production Division

Serial Production Division possesses all necessary facilities, laboratories, auxiliary equipment and know-hows to produce gas turbine units. Our machine workshops and metallurgical subdivision equipped with high-precision casting machines. Here, forging and stamping, electron-beam bonding and laser cutting are widely used.

At the laboratories quality checks of materials and manufactured parts, units, and assemblies are conducted.

Our own facilities manufacture the special instruments, dies, casting molds and tools for the need of serial production line.
