Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) Terra has become an official partner of the Washington Nationals.
Terra (LUNA) is the 10th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization and the blockchain that produces the UST stablecoin.
The amount of the five-year deal is $38.2 million.
According to the company's blog, the VIP seating area at Nationals Park's home arena will be renamed the Terra Club.
As part of the partnership, during games at Nationals Park, fans will be able to make purchases using the UST stablecoin as early as next season.
Terra signage will also be placed around and inside the team's home stadium. In addition, Terra will produce five commercials that will air during the games.
Nearly 1.5 million fans attended Nationals games in the 2021 season.
