Volosovo, a city in Russia, in the southwestern part of the Leningrad region, the center of the Volosovo district. Population 11.8 thousand people. (2019). Railway station.
It was founded in 1870 as dacha settlement. From 1927 the district center of Leningrad region. From 1937 it's a settlement of town type. During World War II the town was occupied by German troops from 8/16/1941 to 1/26/1944. From 1999 the city. There is the church of Alexander Nevskiy (1903) preserved.
