Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy (Ukrainian: Володимир Олександрович Зеленський, pronouncedwas born 25 January 1978) is a Ukrainian actor, comedian and politician who is the 6th and current president of Ukraine since 20 May 2019.

He began his career by participating in the KVN in the teams "Zaporizhzhya - Kryvyi Rih - Transit", "National Team of Kryvyi Rih" and "95th Quarter" , in the last of which Volodymyr Zelensky was the captain, actor and author of most issues . In 2003, after leaving the KVN, Zelensky's "95th Quarter" team began giving concerts on television.
