Vera Viktorovna Kamsha (November 5, 1962, Lviv, Ukrainian SSR) is a Russian historical fantasy writer and journalist.
Biography
She graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in petroleum engineering, after graduation she moved to Leningrad.
In Leningrad, Vera Kamsha first worked as an assistant to a deputy of the Leningrad City Council, then, in 1994, she took up journalism. After meeting Nick Perumov, she turned to writing historical fantasy novels. In 2001, the debut book of Vera Kamshi was published: the fantasy novel "Dark Star", which, together with the novel "The Incomparable Right" (2001), made up the first dilogy of the Chronicles of Artzia. Later, the same cycle included the dilogies Blood of Sunset, Argument of Kings (2002) and Tower of Rage (2003). The magical world of the Ordered One in the "Chronicles of Artcia" cycle, created by the writer, initially arose under the influence of the works of Nick Perumov, but rather quickly began to live a separate life.
