University of Tehran

The University of Tehran is a public educational institution located in Tehran, Iran. Founded in 1934, it operates as an organization and educational institute. The university is accredited by the Ministry of Science Research and Technology of Iran and is affiliated with the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.

Operating in the industries of education, higher education, and as a university, the University of Tehran has a motto of "Rest not a moment from learning". They have been granted one patent and also have subsidiaries which include the University of Tehran, Department of Mining Engineering and University of Tehran Press. The institution's name can also be written in Persian as دانشگاه تهران.
