The profile clamp includes a first half-shell having a first tensioning head on a first circumferential end and a first connection geometry on a second circumferential end, a second half-shell having a second tensioning head on a first circumferential end and a second connection geometry on a second circumferential end, and, in an installation-ready state, a hinge connection, which is formed by an engagement between the first connection geometry and the second connection geometry, having a limited opening angle.
