Biography

Timati is a popular Russian rap artist, founder of the Black Star music empire. A whole generation has grown up on his work. The talent of the performer allowed him to realize himself in several directions – as a singer, film actor and producer. Today Timur Yunusov is not only a successful musician who gathers thousands of people, but also a successful businessman who develops a number of projects in the capital and regions.

Childhood and youth

Timur Ildarovich Yunusov was born in Moscow on August 15, 1983 under the sign of the zodiac Leo. The rapper, now famous under the pseudonym Timati, is half Tatar, half Jewish by nationality. Even as a child, Timur lived in prosperity, because the family was always well-off, but his father, businessman Ildar Vakhitovich Yunusov, raised his son so that he could achieve everything himself. Timati has a brother Artem.

From an early age, Timur was a creative and developed child. His parents sent him to study at a music school in the violin class. The boy devoted 4 years to the instrument. In Moscow, Yunusov Jr. was engaged in breakdancing, then organized a rap group VIP 77 with a friend. The compositions of the duo "Fiesta" and "I need you alone" occupied the top steps of the domestic charts.

After receiving the certificate, Timati entered the Higher School of Economics, but studied there for only six months. When the young man turned 13, his father sent him to Los Angeles to get an education, but the guy was already interested in music, so instead of classes, he disappeared into nightclubs where rap artists performed.

Music

In 2004, Timati became a participant in the "Star Factory" project. The whole country has learned about the Moscow rapper. In the same period, the collective "Gang" was created under his leadership. Then none of the band members won the "Factory-4", but the producers liked the talented youth, so they were given the opportunity to record a CD and shoot the clip "Heaven is Crying".

The period of fame forced the singer to actively develop. Then the guy opened the first night club Black club. In 2006, Timati released his first solo album "Black Star" and in the same year, together with his friend Pasha, he organized the production center Black Star Inc.

Timati's first solo concert was held in 2007 at the Zhara Club. In the same year, joint tracks were recorded with Fat Joe, Nox, Xzibit, clips were shot for the songs "Don't go crazy" with the sex symbol of the Russian party Victoria Boney and "Dance" with the socialite Ksenia Sobchak.

In 2008, Timati's creative biography was replenished with a remix of the DJ Smash song "Moscow Never Sleeps", which became a hit that summer, and the release of the track "Forever" with Mario Winans. The performer became the face of the Sprandi clothing brand.

At the beginning of 2018, the artist was included in the black list of the RU TV channel.TV due to the refusal of the head Vladimir Kiselev in cooperation with his son, a musician who performs under the pseudonym YurKiss.

In the summer, the singer spoke unflatteringly about the Muz-TV award, which, according to Timati, is already being awarded not for talent, but for certain services to the owners of the TV channel. Producer Arman Davletyarov suggested that such an assessment of the musician was prompted by the lack of an award this year. After the scandalous statement, Yunusov and the artists of his label became persona non grata on this TV channel.

In May 2019, it became known that Egor Creed and Levan Gorozia had left Black Star. And if Egor managed to part with the producers peacefully, then the rapper L'One filed a lawsuit against Timati and Pasha. The artist does not agree to part with his songs, which were created during the collaboration with the label, as well as with a stage name. In response, Timati pointed out to the musician the terms of the contract, which Gorozia agreed to at the time by signing it.

In February 2020, named the year of tourism in Chechnya, Yunusov posted a clip about Grozny on Instagram. He advised travelers to visit the capital, calling it the best city in the country. In the video, Timur, together with Ramzan Kadyrov, exclaims: "Akhmat is power!" and uses other national words.

Timati became friends with the head of the Chechen Republic, asking to protect him from the angry Senator Umar Dzhabrailov. The dignitary was angry at the singer for unauthorized intrusion on the stage during a concert by Nelly Furtado, a singer from Canada. This happened in 2008.

In May, the video for the song "Guchi" was released. The recording of the song was made back in 2018, Egor Creed participated there. Singer and blogger Klava Coca appeared in a video on Timati's YouTube channel, the director's work belongs to Pavel Khudyakov.

According to the artist, the label gradually became a "group of companies" and lost its "chamber charm". Timati also stressed that he retained the founder's shares in the label's projects, but is no longer related to the activities of the company's artists. Timati created a new organization, which is called LLC "Rocket". The main activity will be performing arts.

In June, a clip for the song "Havchik" appeared on Yunusov's channel. Danya Milokhin, Artur Babich and Anna Pokrov are engaged in filming; all three are ticktockers and belong to the Dream Team House association. Jigan also appeared in the frame.

In September, the song El Problema and a video for it were released. The joint work of Timati, rapper Morgenstern and his beatmaker Slava Marlowe took the first place in the Russian charts. And in October Timati, together with Dzhigan and Egor Creed, released the song Rolls Royce. The music video director Pavel Khudyakov acted as the director. At the end of the video, the amazed viewer saw Sergei Bezrukov in the image of the leader from the crime series "Brigade". Over a day on YouTube, the clip has collected more than a million views.

At the same time, the single "Starfall" was released, in the video for which Egor Creed, Slava Marlowe, Morgenstern, Goof and Dzhigan participated.

Television and movies

Timati appeared in the action movie "Men's Season. The Velvet Revolution" and the TV series "Love is not show business". With Pavel Derevyanko he starred in the spy comedy "Hitler Kaput!". And in 2008, he flashed in the musical "Little Red Riding Hood", where the main roles were played by Anastasia Kamenskikh and Alexey Potapenko.

In 2013 , a new job appeared in Timati 's filmography - a role in the comedy "Одноклассники.ги : Get lucky."

As a cameo appeared in the film "Heat" in 2019. Valeria, Egor Creed, Ani Lorak, Philip Kirkorov and other recognizable personalities also appeared on the screen.

On the project "Factory of Stars – 4" Timati's personal life became public. The novel of the rapper and singer Alexa was considered by many to be a PR move. But the photos of Yunusov and Chvikova showed that the guys spent a lot of time with each other. After parting with the "factory owner", a series of fleeting romances followed.

The short singer (Timur's height in various sources ranges from 168 to 171 cm with a weight of 70 kg) has repeatedly chosen girls of model height as companions. He was credited with novels with Masha Malinovskaya, Victoria Bonya, Sofia Rudyeva, Mila Volchek. Timur met Alyona Shishkova in 2012 on the set of a music video. They didn't start dating right away. The singer had to make efforts to gain the favor of the chosen one.

In 2014, Alyona and Timati became parents, they had a girl Alice. The singer's daughter is blonde, like her mother, but looks very similar to her dad, as can be seen from her photo in the artist's Instagram. The appearance of a common child did not save the couple from divorce.

After the separation from Shishkova, the singer began an affair with model Anastasia Reshetova, the first vice-Miss Russia 2014. It is known that the girl is 13 years younger than the musician. Reshetova became the heroine of two Timati videos - for the songs "Zero" and "Keys to Paradise".
