TechnoNICOL

Technonikol was founded in 1992. In 1993 an office was opened in Moscow. In 1994, the company launched the production of rolled roofing materials at the Vyborg Ruberoid Plant. In 1995, a regional trading office was opened in St. Petersburg. As of the end of 1999, TechnoNIKOL owned 5 production sites and 35 sales offices in different regions of Russia. The company also entered the Ukrainian market by opening a sales office in Kiev.

n the period from 2000 to 2003, TechnoNIKOL acquires the first plant outside of Russia - Gargzdu MIDA (Lithuania) - and launches the production of shingles under the Shinglas brand. Under the Techno brand, a series of thermal insulation materials made of stone wool comes out. The release of mastics has been adjusted. The number of sales outlets amounted to 50 pieces.

In 2004, the TechnoNIKOL Scientific Center was opened. TechnoNIKOL opens a plant for the production of bitumen and bitumen-polymer materials in Dneprodzerzhinsk (Ukraine). In Ryazan, together with the company Chova (Spain), the largest plant for the production of Shinglas tiles in Russia was opened.

In 2006-2008 TechnoNIKOL starts production of extruded polystyrene foam under the Technoplex brand.

In 2013, TechnoNIKOL bought the Italian building materials plant Italiana Membrane

In 2014, TechnoNIKOL acquired 100% of the shares of the Italian building materials manufacturer Imper Italia S.p.A.

In 2016, a plant for the production of thermal insulation materials based on polyisocyanurate foam (PIR) was launched in Ryazan

In 2020, TechnoNIKOL opened 2 enterprises in Khabarovsk - a plant for the production of plastic drainage systems

TechnoNIKOL is a Russian company, a manufacturer of roofing, waterproofing and heat-insulating materials. It owns factories in Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Great Britain and Germany, as well as scientific divisions, representative offices and training centers.

The total number of employees is about 6400 people. It is one of the five largest European manufacturers of waterproofing materials. In the Forbes rating of the largest Russian private companies, TechnoNIKOL took 115th place in 2020
