Tarendiesel is a company that designs, constructs, owns, and operates a commercial biorefinery operation producing high-quality renewable diesel from a wide range of oil-based feedstocks. Tarendiesel makes renewable jet fuel even better, with a major innovation that improves the product. The innovation results in a much lighter weight fuel that leads to significantly improved miles per gallon, which could especially be true for jet fuel. The lighter weight fuel may allow planes to take off easier and with less weight, fly further on the same amount of fuel. This innovation will also create a new product with a much higher per gallon return.

Innovation

Tarondiesel's innovation gives its customers a more versatile fuel and removes some limitations that other biofuels have, especially in cold weather reliability. This innovation may also change the market for renewable diesel and jet fuel. The team discusses ideas for improving renewable diesel and jet fuel with their technology partner, UOP/Honeywell, and believes that it will be an improvement for both fuels.

Green diesel and jet fuel

Both green or renewable diesel and jet fuel have significant proven advantages over petroleum diesel and jet, and biodiesel. This includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), better gas mileage, and less wear on one's engine. It also allows ease of adaptability for use with conventional fuels and other specialty products. Tarondiesel's renewable diesel and jet will be drop-in fuels and fully blendable.
