Spark Ventures

Spark Ventures, formerly NewMediaSpark, is a London, England based venture capital firm. They are an early-stage investor in technology, media and healthcare companies in the United Kingdom and Europe which Spark Ventures feel have potential for high growth.

Spark Ventures was founded by Tom Teichman, and in turn co-founded the Garage Soho whose team is mixed with Spark Ventures team.

Spark Ventures has made investments in Antenova, Vivacta, Alchemy Pharmaceuticals, StrategyEye, DEM Solutions, Celona Technologies, Skinkers, Mind Candy, Event Zero and Xention.

They have exited their investments in Oxford Immunotec, IMImobile, OMGPOP, Haemostatix, Skinkers, Event Zero, Touch Clarity, Aspex Semiconductor, Secerno and Nomad Payments.

In March, 2011 Spark Ventures raised their Black Sheep Fund, which offered startups business and brand building support as well as capital. The fund targeted £10 million.
